Children Outreach (AY)
We recommend buying small gifts like 1 or 2 crayons for each child to colour the tracts, and/or a small healthy snack, fruits are good options. If you can, gift wrap these and deliver to the children in the community. Engage the children in your church to take an active role in reaching out to their peers as well.
While sharing with the children, hand each parent/guardian a form to outline the needs of the child. At the end of the day make a list of all the needs and a plan to follow up on these needs as a church. Feel free to modify this list to match the specific needs of your community.

Matthew 19:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Sometimes we should leave the confines of the church building and attend to the needs of our communities. If your church were to be destroyed tonight, would it be missed?
Jesus spent more time in the community helping than in the sanctuary listening. Engage your congregation to reach out into the community with a purpose.
This program is focused on the children of our communities. It is a known fact that outreach to children is far more effective in terms of member retention than when we minister to adults, but yet we have neglected the children in our communities. This program seeks to find out the needs of our community's children. We have linked to a needs assessment form in the email and a tract made specially for children.
