Happy Sabbath family and a warm welcome to everyone.

We thank you for joining us for Sabbath School as we reflect with awe on “OUR CREATOR GOD”

                                    It is our desire that at the end of Sabbath School you and I will be able to say with renewed zeal… “Creator God….. if nature obeys you, so will I”.

                                    UMBRELLA

                           I am holding an umbrella. What’s the main purpose of an umbrella? Yes, I await your responses…… Yes the answer is to provide shelter from the rain.

                                    But have you ever stopped to consider the rain? God’s sprinkler system? Did you realize that watering the earth is God’s miracle? That it took intelligence and design?

Let’s consider it for a moment. ¼ of the earth’s surface is dry land and ¾ is covered with water. Did you know that this ratio determines the rainfall on the earth?  Just imagine for a moment if the ratio of land and water was changed.  Suppose the ocean was half its size… we’d only recive ¼ the amount of rainfall we do now. Most countries would be a desert.

What if half the land was added to the ocean? We’d receive four times as much rainfall as we do now.  The world would be a perpetual swamp and life would be almost impossible.

What if God did not create a sprinkler system/ the rain? We would have to develop a system to water… the entire world? How would we water all our mountain terrain? Where would we get the water from? PAUSE…… The ocean you say? There are 3 problems we’d have to get around…. 1. Transportation and distribution 2. It’s salt content 3. It’s weight.

The next time we see a drop of rain… look up and say… MY GOD, HOW GREAT THOU ART….

3 Mins                         Friends, this morning in Sabbath School we are reflecting on God’s creative power and the miracle of the sprinkler system that he has made. Rainfall. If there was no rainfall and we had to water the entire planet we would be faced with three main problems. 1. Transportation (getting it out of the ocean) 2. Purification (getting the salt out) 3. Distribution (spreading it over the dry land).

                                     We don’t have to figure this out because God already did it for us. To get around the transportation problem God used heat. The rays of the sun turns water into a vapour that is now 900 times lighter than water. This vapour is now easily lifted and transported into the sky and formed into cloud masses.

                                    The second problem – the deadly salt – is solved using evaporation. God evaporates the water and leaves all the minerals and impurities behind.

                                    What about the distribution problem? Because the vapours or the clouds are still now hanging in the air over the ocean which doesn’t need any more water. It’s the dry land that needs it. Here’s another miracle. God sends along winds to spread out the clouds! It is important to know God as Creator because in knowing Him we acknowledge that He created us and not we ourselves. It gives a sense of humility and safety. We can gladly worship Him on the Sabbath day because we acknowledge that He is the creator and in six-days he made heaven and earth and rested on the seventh day. Friends, if wind can obey our Creator God. So will I.

We thank you for having joined us this morning for Sabbath School as we reflect on “Our Creator God”. We contemplated the miracle behind the earth’s sprinkler system – rainfall BUT, did you know that God made the first goggles?! Yes. The eyeball of the fish is designed in such a way that they can see almost instantly in any direction. They see behind, below, above. “GOGGLES” could never have come into existence by chance, so what made you think a fish’s specialized eyeball just happened???????

Only a God of love and power, OUR CREATOR GOD could have made the marvels we see around us. If he cares for the tiniest of fishes and to give this earth rainfall, he cares for you too and wants to save you.

The Bible reminds us in Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

This is love because Our Creator God is love.

Sabbath School is now adjourned until next sabbath.
