The Sabbath and so much more

As leaders within the Seventh Day Adventist church, do you know what we believe in and why our church claims to have the truth? Are you aware that as a church, we have fundamental beliefs?
How many fundamental beliefs do we have? Are we only Sabbath-keepers? Do you know the answers to all of these questions?

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures.
Because we follow the teachings of the Bible as closely as possible, we have the most accurate message at this time.

The church has twenty-eight (28) fundamental beliefs that have come from the true interpretation of the Bible. These beliefs extend beyond the sabbath even though the sabbath is also one of our fundamental beliefs.

The first fundamental belief is on the Holy Scriptures, comprising of both the old and the new testament and that God inspires all scripture.  The Holy Scriptures are supreme and authoritative. We believe the scripture is the standard for character and the trustworthy record of God’s acts in history.

Do you think it is necessary to know and understand the church’s fundamental beliefs to be a leader within this church? How do these fundamental beliefs measure up to the content of the programs you create?
